Sometimes, the most meaningful journeys begin in the quietest moments.

The years from 2023 to 2025 were emotionally challenging for me. I found myself wanting a hobby, something to keep my hands busy and my mind occupied.

One evening of October 2025, while browsing social media, I discovered the art of cold process soap making. What began as simple curiosity soon became something I genuinely enjoyed.

As an introvert, I found comfort in the quiet rhythm of making soap. Measuring, mixing, waiting, and watching each batch transform. It became a peaceful routine and gave me something to look forward to.

I'm usually careful with spending, but soap making became the one hobby I wholeheartedly invested in. I loved learning about natural oils, butters, fragrances, colors, and the science behind creating a gentle, nourishing bar of soap.

Every batch became an opportunity to learn and improve.

I never imagined becoming a business owner. In fact, selling my soaps has been one of the most challenging parts of this journey. Making them comes naturally; sharing them with others takes courage.

The soaps I make are simple by choice. I don't aim for elaborate designs. Instead, I focus on quality ingredients, thoughtful formulations, and making each bar with patience and consistency.

The Cold Process Method

Cold process soap making is an unhurried craft. Oils and butters are combined with a lye solution at low temperatures, preserving the integrity of every ingredient. The soap then cures for several weeks - developing a hard, long-lasting bar with a gentle, conditioning lather.

There are no shortcuts. Every bar is made by hand, in small batches, so that each one receives the attention it deserves.

What Goes Into Every Bar

Each bar is thoughtfully formulated using a curated combination of these oils and butters - not every ingredient appears in every bar, but together they form the foundation of everything we make.

  • Kokum Butter - deeply conditioning, with a silky finish that absorbs without heaviness.
  • Shea Butter - a time-honoured skin softener, prized for its gentle, moisturising properties.
  • Wildcrafted Berry Oil -  rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, it supports skin resilience and a healthy glow.
  • Olive Oil - a centuries-old skin care staple, deeply nourishing and gentle for all skin types.
  • Avocado Oil - packed with vitamins and oleic acid, it softens and helps the skin retain moisture.
  • Organic Coconut Oil - creates a rich, cleansing lather while contributing hardness and longevity to the bar.
  • Castor Oil - a lather booster that adds creaminess and helps bind the other oils together beautifully.
  • Grass-Fed Beef Tallow - a traditional ingredient prized for its skin-compatible fatty acid profile and its contribution to a hard, long-lasting bar.

To these, I add botanical actives, clays, and natural colourants - each chosen with care, each serving a purpose.
